Enquiries about moving here

Sorry but we have no flats available at present, nor are we accepting applications to join our pool of non-resident members. We will review this again in 2025.

But you can join Friends of New Ground and come to regular events for Friends, including workshops for those wanting to know more about establishing a cohousing community. This group is open to anyone. If you are interested contact: us. Becoming a Friend is a separate process from applying to become a resident member of New Ground.

Academic Interest

We are happy to receive prepared academic enquiries and to circulate these to our members who may reply on a personal basis. We do not provide ‘group answers’ to questions. Please contact us

Press and Media

We are grateful for the attention New Ground has received; the films, interviews and articles have promoted huge interest, and informed a wide audience about the benefits of co-housing and hopefully will have encouraged others to think about creating their own community.  However, New Ground is our home, and we have reluctantly agreed not to pursue interest from the press and media for the near future. For any other enquiries, please contact us

Site visits

Sorry, but we cannot welcome unarranged visits to our home.  However, we can arrange visits for interested groups and can tailor them to requirements. There is a charge for this service. Please contact us to arrange a group visit

Housing Professionals

We are open to sharing our experience and responding to enquiries from housing associations, local authorities and other relevant organisations about the lessons we have learned from creating our cohousing development. We can often give a quick response by email, but we would have to charge for any substantial commitment of time. Do contact us
